This dedication to excellence is reflected not only in their quality food and customer service but also in their investment in employee development and satisfaction. With a focus on teamwork and a positive work environment, Raising Cane's continues to attract and retain passionate individuals who contribute to its ongoing success and growth.
The role of Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's offers a unique opportunity to be a pivotal part of this thriving organization. As an Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will play an essential role in supporting the Restaurant Leader with day-to-day operations while maintaining the high standards and culture Raising Cane's is known for. This position encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities, including managing hourly team members, overseeing payroll and scheduling, and ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. This fast-paced role demands a hands-on approach, as you'll be working both inside and outside the kitchen environment where physical activity, including walking, standing, lifting, and bending, is frequent. You'll also interact directly with customers, providing exemplary service that aligns with Raising Cane's values.
Your impact in this role is significant; you will be responsible for hiring and terminating hourly crew members, managing their onboarding and payroll processes, and coaching and developing their performance. The position also requires managerial duties such as acting as the manager on duty, handling cash accountability, and managing restaurant openings and closings. Beyond operational tasks, you're expected to uphold Raising Cane's policies and safety standards, orchestrate shift management meetings, and ensure the facilities remain clean and well-maintained.
The Assistant Restaurant Leader role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Success in this position requires a blend of self-motivation, flexibility, strong communication skills, and proficiency with technology systems including Microsoft Office. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential. This role also offers opportunities for growth and development with comprehensive training incentives starting at $61,000 annually plus monthly bonuses, which vary based on location, experience, and restaurant profitability. Compensation includes a competitive monthly training incentive and an attractive benefits package that supports health, financial security, personal development, and overall well-being.
Joining Raising Cane's means becoming part of a company that cares deeply about its crew and culture, offers competitive pay with weekly pay options in most locations, and provides a range of perks including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits, life and disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, and more. For individuals seeking a meaningful career in restaurant leadership with a successful and rapidly expanding brand, the Assistant Restaurant Leader position at Raising Cane's represents an excellent fit with room for advancement and continuous learning.
