The Assistant Restaurant General Manager position at Goldfinch Tavern represents a full-time opportunity to join a dynamic and award-winning team dedicated to delivering the ultimate dining experience. Job Requirements

  • U.S. work authorization
  • Bachelor's degree in hotel or restaurant management
  • Minimum two years of leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons standards
  • Ability to operate food and beverage computer systems

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel or restaurant management
  • Minimum two years of leadership experience in food and beverage operations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • Proficiency in computer systems including MICROS, Microsoft Office, OpenTable, and labor management software
  • Strong understanding of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and procedures
  • Positive attitude with an uplifting team approach
  • Ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs
  • Energetic and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees in the food and beverage division
  • Plan daily activities and operations for the restaurant outlet
  • Maintain operational visibility, provide staff recognition, and handle guest complaints or special requests
  • Ensure quality control of food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits to enhance guest experience
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Attend operational meetings for coordination between departments
  • Monitor physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend improvements
  • Comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct
  • Collaborate professionally with co-workers and supervisors
