The Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) position is an integral leadership role within this framework. The ARGM supports both the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and the Market Leader in protecting and enhancing the Church's Chicken brand. This role carries the vital responsibilities of driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining profitability – all while providing an exceptional guest experience. The ARGM functions as a role model and brand ambassador, upholding brand standards meticulously and leading by example. Deliberate emphasis is placed on developing team members through training and coaching initiatives, nurturing a motivated workforce aligned with corporate values and operational goals. The position also involves ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all company policies and regulatory mandates. The ARGM is expected to foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive work culture that promotes continuous learning and accountability. They take on leadership duties during the absence of the RGM and actively contribute to local store marketing efforts to maximize customer reach and profitability. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- support the Restaurant General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and retaining high-performing restaurant team members
- ensure all employees are properly trained and certified according to current Church's Chicken training programs
- foster a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
- promote a positive, service-oriented, and inclusive work environment
- recommend and administer corrective action including coaching, discipline, suspension, and termination in accordance with company policy
- lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve performance and development goals
- act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager
- execute Church's Chicken brand standards, policies, and operating procedures 100% of the time
- ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest service
- maintain restaurant facilities, equipment, and grounds to operational and safety standards
- ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and HACCP standards
- prepare for and respond to health inspections and internal audits
- enforce cleaning schedules, uniform standards, and appearance guidelines
- ensure POP and signage is present and in the approved location
- assist the RGM in identifying and communicating sales goals (daily, weekly, year over year)
- ensure the right people are in the right places according to projected/actual sales
- increase customer count and check average, and maximize capacity and customer value
- support the RGM in identifying and executing Local Store Marketing opportunities to attract new customers
- stay aware of local events
- understand the store's current trade area and competition
- execute speed (speed with a smile) and service standards
- flawlessly execute marketing promotions and campaigns
- maintain staffing levels to actual sales
- comply with labor laws
- accurately order and manage inventory to reduce waste and prevent theft
- ensure cash handling procedures and standards are in place and followed
- perform cash audits and address identified issues
- execute safety and health standards
- minimize R&M/Supplies and Services costs by managing service vendors efficiently
- achieve and communicate controllable cost targets
- perform other responsibilities as assigned, with duties and responsibilities changing when circumstances dictate
