Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint is a renowned dive bar located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, celebrated for serving a top-notch burger that has become a local favorite. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Restaurant General Manager (AGM) to join our dedicated team. This full-time salaried position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 and includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance valued at over $7,000 annually, which becomes effective 60 days after the start of employment in this management role. Additionally, Jack Brown's offers a 401K plan with a 2% company match after one year of employment, as well as opportunities for professional growth through an annual leadership summit and ongoing learning initiatives.
The AGM will play a critical role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. This includes overseeing day-to-day activities such as managing staff, maintaining high standards of food and beverage service, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations. The Assistant General Manager will be a hands-on leader, helping to recruit, train, and evaluate team members to foster an environment where exceptional customer service is the norm.
In this role, you will also contribute strategic insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability, including involvement in marketing efforts and promotional activities designed to attract and retain customers. Managing inventory and supplies effectively to maintain adequate stock levels will be part of your responsibilities, along with promptly addressing and resolving customer complaints to uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality and service.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software are essential. - contribute to the development and implementation of marketing plans and promotional activities
- monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplies to ensure adequate stock
- assist in handling customer complaints and resolving any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- adhere to and enforce all health and safety regulations
- collaborate with the management team to analyze financial reports and implement cost-control measures
