This particular role is designed for an individual eager to maintain high standards in facility upkeep, foster excellent customer interactions, and support operational efficiency at a Go Store It location. As part of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the property remains secure, clean, and inviting for customers, while also providing direct assistance on-site whenever needed. This is a full-time position offering steady 40-hour work weeks with flexible scheduling, designed to accommodate a balanced work-life routine.

The position involves routine property inspections, minor repairs such as fixing locks, lights, doors, and other small maintenance jobs, as well as keeping the entire facility clean and orderly. You will also assist in administrative and customer service functions, such as updating unit statuses, adjusting rates, handling customer concerns (excluding employee complaints), and supporting new hires during their training phase. The role offers a blend of hands-on maintenance duties and customer service responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and enjoy working in a community-focused environment.

Job Duties

  • Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid
  • Train new hires following training manual
  • Update unit status
  • Adjust rates

  • Walk the property every day and check for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything off
  • Fix small issues like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and perform simple paint or patch repairs
  • Keep the place clean including hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs
  • Turn over units after move-outs by sweeping, cleaning, and preparing them for new renters
  • Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure proper operation
  • Help customers on site when needed
  • Maintain the property to look right and run smoothly
