Job Description

Go Store It - Self Storage is a prominent company in the self-storage industry, offering secure and convenient storage solutions across more than 150 locations in 23 states. With a foundational commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence, Go Store It has established a strong reputation as a trusted provider in the storage market. The company caters to a diverse clientele, addressing a wide range of storage needs while creating a supportive environment for both customers and employees. This dynamic organization is continuously expanding its footprint and seeks dedicated individuals who share its values and commitment to quality service.

The role offered is an essential full-time position within Go Store It that focuses on the day-to-day management and upkeep of storage properties. This position requires a proactive and responsible individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate is someone who doesn’t shy away from addressing issues promptly, fixing minor problems, and ensuring that the facilities operate seamlessly. You will be entrusted with significant responsibilities such as assisting with applicant contacts, training new hires, customer relations, routine property inspections, and hands-on maintenance tasks including managing locks, lights, and minor repairs. In addition to facility management, you will also help ensure the customer experience is positive by being available onsite to assist clients as needed.

This role is designed for those who appreciate a structured work environment with a flexible schedule, a clear pathway for career growth, and the opportunity to work within a company that values and promotes its employees from within. Go Store It offers a supportive workplace with no tolerance for unnecessary workplace drama, ensuring a respectful and positive atmosphere. Beyond the practical aspects of the role, this opportunity provides comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance paid by the company, 401(k) with company matching, and paid time off with holidays included. The company also takes pride in providing all necessary tools and supplies, ensuring you can perform your duties efficiently without out-of-pocket expenses.

This position requires no prior maintenance expertise or advanced education, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who are willing to learn and grow on the job. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation are the basic prerequisites. The company encourages applicants who are ready to show up, take ownership, and contribute positively to the ongoing success and upkeep of the facilities. If you are someone who naturally notices things out of place and strives to fix them, this role at Go Store It will provide a fulfilling and stable employment experience with scope for upward mobility.
