The Assistant Property Manager position at Village 1373 is a critical role designed to support the Property Manager in the day-to-day management and operation of the residential community. The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for performing a wide range of duties, including managing resident relations, processing applications, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and maintaining accurate resident files. Job Requirements

  • Current driver's license
  • ARM or CAM preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or 2-year associate degree or 2 years work experience in retail sales or customer related service
  • Professional appearance
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices
  • Excellent customer service skills along with sales and marketing skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work well with others and independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Yardi expertise preferred
  • Knowledge of residential property management

Job Duties

  • Manage the community in the temporary absence of the Property Manager
  • Ensure daily bank deposits and handle monies pertaining to the community
  • Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents
  • Handle and coordinate move-ins and move-outs
  • Prepare and maintain resident files according to company policies
  • Initiate the lease renewal process and forward packets to the Property Manager
  • Process maintenance service requests
  • Participate in maintaining good resident relations
  • Prepare weekly traffic and renewal status reports
  • Keep advertising and website files up to date
  • Cooperate with other departments within the company
  • Perform outreach marketing as directed
  • Follow-up on prospective rental leads and visitors
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
