As a Project Manager with this construction firm, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing diverse projects that typically range in value from $200,000 to $10 million. Your responsibilities will include providing strong leadership to ensure the implementation and maintenance of a proactive safety culture on job sites. You will manage the development and review of bid packages, coordinating with subcontractors to secure competitive proposals, and lead meetings to align subcontractors with project goals. Financial oversight is a key part of the role, involving close management of cost reporting, contracts, purchase orders, monthly invoices, and project forecasts to ensure the project’s financial health. Representing the client in subcontract negotiations will also be among your duties, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills. Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with project management software and tools
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and proactive safety practices
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Providing project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety culture
  • Manage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals
  • Manage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are met
  • Review monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the project
  • Lead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goals
  • Ensure overall financial health of the project and project forecasts
  • Represent our client in the subcontract negotiations
