The bakery position requires hands-on experience in a high-volume kitchen environment covering all three meal periods, where the preparation of cakes, pies, pastries, breads, tortes, and other baked goods meets the highest standards set by Station Casinos. Team members are expected to have detailed knowledge of safety protocols, including proper use and location of material safety data sheets (MSDS), and display thorough understanding of emergency procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.

Team collaboration is paramount; baking professionals must attend daily team member huddles and actively engage with communication boards to stay informed on pertinent updates and departmental goals. These professionals follow precise recipes and guidelines established by the corporate food and beverage division, ensuring product consistency and quality. Beyond baking skills, responsibility extends to maintaining sanitation, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with department policies and health regulations. The role is demanding, requiring flexibility in scheduling and the ability to manage time effectively without supervision. Advanced knowledge across all bakery skill stations is essential, as employees are expected to competently handle each station independently, demonstrating strong proficiency in baking techniques, recipe interpretation, inventory control, and production management.
