The role of Assistant Operations Manager - Tropico at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Suites involves overseeing the operations of Tropico, one of the resort’s prestigious food and beverage outlets. This position is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, including scheduling, forecasting, and staff training. A critical part of the role is maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as Hyatt's corporate standards and operating procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a knack for analytical problem-solving, enabling them to address operational challenges and enhance guest experiences effectively. Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food and beverage management preferred
- Experience working in a hotel environment preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Leadership qualities
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
