The Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Woburn, in partnership with Pyramid Hotel Group, invites hospitality enthusiasts passionate about guest service to embark on a fulfilling career journey. The Leadership Development Program (LDP) epitomizes this mission, designed as an immersive 12-month training experience to launch careers in hotel management. Participants in this program enter as Leaders in Training, taking on an Assistant Manager role from the onset to gain hands-on experience across key hotel operations departments.

This program combines classroom learning, on-the-job training, and mentorship to develop leadership, operational expertise, and business insight. Trainees gain exposure to all facets of operations, senior leadership, brand environments, and distinctive independent properties. They may also engage in taskforce management opportunities, depending on availability. Monthly meetings offer additional cross-functional learning in business development, revenue management, sales and marketing, rooms division leadership, and human resources.

The LDP includes online coursework covering essential leadership skills such as time management, relationship building, motivation, conflict resolution, critical thinking, decision making, and performance coaching. This comprehensive program equips emerging hospitality leaders with the tools and experience to succeed in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

Ideal candidates for the Leadership Development Program are recent college graduates or graduating seniors with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management. They should demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen passion for leadership within hospitality. The role emphasizes guest-facing interactions and requires physical stamina for walking, standing, lifting, and operating hotel equipment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. as sponsorship is not provided. Starting salaries range from $50,000 to $60,000 annually, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation.
