The Assistant Operations Manager - Housekeeping at Hyatt Centric Times Square plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property. This position involves overseeing the entire housekeeping department, including maintaining the public areas and coordinating night cleaning operations. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of housekeeping processes and standards, as well as familiarity with property management systems (PARS). An essential part of this role includes enforcing all safety and security policies to protect both guests and employees.
Experience addressing special needs guests, such as VIPs and foreign dignitaries, is advantageous in this position. The Assistant Operations Manager is also responsible for staff training, staff development, and creating effective work schedules. This leadership role requires the ability to build and maintain an uplifting environment that promotes high levels of customer and team member satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, the Assistant Operations Manager - Housekeeping must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments. The salary range for this position is competitive, from $64,350 to $70,000 annually, with actual pay commensurate with experience.
