Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality experience
- Open availability preferred

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, problem solving, day-to-day operation, hospitality skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams

Job Duties
- Lead daily front desk, housekeeping, or guest services shift operations
- Assist in supervising an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public spaces
- Attend pertinent meetings such as staff, forecast, and department meetings
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Ensure knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations are up to date
- Supervise daily shift operations and ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures
- Open and close restaurant, bar, or food and beverage outlet shifts
- Supervise operations for related areas in absence of director or manager
- Adhere to and reinforce all standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist floor staff during busy periods
- Apply and broaden knowledge of food and wine trends and overall event presentation
- Communicate and execute departmental and hotel emergency procedures
- Ensure compliance with bar/lounge and restaurant policies and standards
- Maintain food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Monitor departmental inventories and assets including par levels and equipment maintenance
- Order supplies for the department
- Manage banquet, event service, and event technology teams ensuring room set according to event documentation
- Lead shifts and participate in servicing of events
- Conduct room function inspections prior to events
- Delegate tasks to ensure room setups are timely and meet event management standards
- Attend pre-event and pre-convention meetings
- Communicate critical information to teams
- Schedule banquet and event service staff to forecast and service standards
- Guide banquet beverage supervisor in controlling liquor costs
- Practice and execute brand specific meeting services programs
- Support event technology/audio visual team when necessary
- Work with event planning team to ensure flawless delivery of events
- Understand departmental goals and assist in monitoring and celebrating accomplishments
- Comprehend budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as needed
- Support management of departmental inventories and assets according to budget
- Participate in development and implementation of corrective action plans
