The role of the Assistant Managing Partner at Torchy’s is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience consistently. Job Requirements

  • 3 or more years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced environment including kitchen and guest-facing operations
  • Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams while maintaining high operational and hospitality standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and restaurant operations best practices
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and inventory
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds and to stand or walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience in fast-paced environment including kitchen and guest-facing operations
  • Proven leadership ability to develop diverse teams and maintain high operational and hospitality standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and best practices in restaurant operations
  • Required state alcohol-server certification and Manager ServSafe certification
  • Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage all Back of House operations including food preparation, inventory, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure all menu items meet high food quality standards including scratch-made recipes and attention to detail
  • Champion hospitality by meeting and exceeding guest needs and expectations
  • Support and execute local store marketing initiatives to build community connections and drive guest traffic
  • Hire, train, and schedule team members to maintain proper staffing levels and meet operational needs
  • Mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of growth and accountability and identifying future leaders
  • Manage food costs, labor, and operational efficiency through planning, scheduling and inventory management
  • Ensure strict adherence to recipes including correct portioning, prep weights, and production tracking
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and regulatory requirements
  • Lead smooth and efficient shifts focusing on food quality, speed, hospitality, and safety
  • Evaluate Mystery Shop and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans for improvement
  • Train and certify team members and support continuous skill development
  • Perform other duties as assigned
