Dexterra Group's legacy is built on passionate professionalism and a relentless pursuit of excellence, as they consistently bring together skilled teams tailored to meet the unique needs of various industries and operations. This strong foundation positions Dexterra as a leader in its sector, highly regarded for its contribution to performance enhancement across its clientele.

This role centers on the Assistant Manager/Duty Manager position, stationed at a premier Dexterra workforce accommodations facility. The facility is a state-of-the-art site that initially opens with approximately 500 rooms and is projected to expand rapidly to a capacity of around 2,000 rooms. This magnifies the demand for an experienced senior leader capable of managing large, intricate hospitality and accommodation settings. The Assistant Manager/Duty Manager bears full responsibility for the site, overseeing all facets of operations including facilities maintenance, dining and food services, cleaning and housekeeping, as well as laundry services.

Importantly, the position involves strategic leadership infused with operational management, aimed at assembling and nurturing a high-performing team devoted to exemplary service delivery. A pivotal focus of the role is on safety, guest satisfaction, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in steering the facility toward operational excellence and ensuring adherence to Dexterra’s stringent standards related to food quality, cleanliness, and health and safety protocols. This role also entails active collaboration with Human Resources for hiring, onboarding, and performance management, alongside managing financial targets such as revenue forecasting, budget preparation, and cost control. Due to the nature of the role, it is marked as safety-sensitive, requiring compliance with drug, alcohol, and fit-for-work testing policies as part of the employment conditions. This opportunity represents a significant leadership challenge in a dynamic, rapidly scaling hospitality environment within the Dexterra Group’s expansive operations.
