The Valet Manager role at SP Plus is pivotal in ensuring the daily operations of valet services run smoothly and maintain a high standard of guest experience. Job Requirements

  • High school education
  • minimum six months valet experience preferred
  • valid driver’s license
  • availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends if required
  • ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • strong guest service skills
  • ability to adapt to work environment changes
  • sound judgment
  • ability to stand, walk, use hands regularly
  • occasionally sit, climb or balance
  • able to lift or move up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • minimum of six months valet experience preferred
  • valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record
  • strong oral communication skills
  • clear and informative writing ability
  • strong guest service orientation and positive attitude
  • adaptability to changing work environments
  • sound judgment

Job Duties

  • Participate in programs to improve client and guest satisfaction
  • ensure guests receive timely and exceptional service by assisting with questions, helping in and out of vehicles, driving, parking and retrieving vehicles safely and professionally
  • maintain thorough knowledge of valet operations and local streets
  • create staffing schedules based on daily vehicle volume
  • ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and maintain safety and security of vehicles and keys
  • prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit standards
  • identify vehicle makes and models and understand vehicle operations
  • keep drive lanes and crosswalks clean
  • report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to Facility Manager
  • review damage claims
  • assist with hiring, training and coaching valet team
  • substitute for any position as necessary
  • complete other duties as assigned
