As an Applebee's Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of the restaurant. You are not just managing tasks; you are inspiring both guests and staff to be passionate about their experiences every day. This position demands strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform well under stress. You will be responsible for ensuring timely, friendly service, maintaining high standards for food preparation and presentation, managing inventory, scheduling staff efficiently, and upholding safety, security, and sanitation standards.

Your role also includes mentoring and developing staff through training and performance evaluations, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You will be directly involved in recruiting efforts and serve as a role model for team members. The ability to work in all restaurant positions, from cooking to bartending and seating guests, is essential for success in this role.

This position offers competitive compensation, ranging from $19 to $23.50 per hour, translating to approximately $54,340 to $67,200 annually based on a 50-hour work week, with potential monthly bonuses depending on location. Assistant Managers with six months of continuous employment receive additional paid time off, which increases with tenure.
