The role of an Assistant Manager at Flynn Applebee's is crucial to the success of the restaurant’s daily operations. The Assistant Manager is involved in all facets of the restaurant including guest interactions, staff management, and overall operational efficiency. Hourly compensation ranges from $15.38 to $26.44, approximately $44,850 to $68,500 annually based on a 50-hour workweek, with the potential for monthly bonuses depending on location. Physical demands include the ability to work various shifts, stand for extended periods, and lift items up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Capable of standing and exerting well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Strong reading and writing skills to facilitate communication
  • Dexterity for using small tools and equipment

  • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit

  • Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
  • Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
  • Maintains departmental inventory levels

  • Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
