Job Description
This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald's, one of the world's leading quick-service restaurant chains. The franchisee operates separately from McDonald's USA and is fully responsible for employment matters at this location. Working within this establishment provides a chance to be part of a globally recognized brand while experiencing the dynamic environment of the food service industry. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations, upholding excellent service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
The Assistant Manager position is essential for managing various internal functions that support the restaurant's day-to-day operations. This role involves leadership duties such as employee training, food safety compliance, and inventory management. You will be a key player in creating a positive and efficient workplace that prioritizes both customer satisfaction and safety. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to make decisions and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
You will act as the direct support to the General Manager, working closely to meet the restaurant's performance and quality goals. Your responsibilities will cover three main areas: kitchen operations, people management, and service delivery. In the kitchen, you will supervise food quality, ensure food safety standards are met, control costs, and help implement new menu items. In the area of people management, you will be involved in hiring, training, and scheduling staff to achieve sales and profit objectives. Delivering an exceptional guest experience is paramount, so you will ensure that all team members are well-trained and that key service areas are organized efficiently.
Teamwork is a cornerstone of success in this role. You will partner with the entire restaurant team to maintain safe and efficient operations each day. This position offers advancement opportunities, making it an excellent choice for individuals eager to build their future in the restaurant industry. You will also enjoy numerous perks and benefits that enhance your work-life balance and overall well-being.
Working with this franchisee-operated restaurant means you will be part of a close-knit team in a supportive workplace culture. The role offers competitive benefits such as paid vacation, paid holidays, birthday leave, a quarterly bonus program, health and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, tuition assistance, and meal discounts. These advantages make this opportunity not just a job but a career pathway with room for growth and development. If you are passionate about food service, leadership, and providing outstanding customer experiences, this Assistant Manager role could be the perfect fit for you.
