Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- Must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- Experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer keyboard
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external recruits
- Must be 100% certified in all workstations
- Must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification required
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- Ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to
- Identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- Works with restaurant team to ensure effective execution of service profit chain and brand promise
- Creates a restaurant environment that is friendly, fun, clean, and safe
- Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
- Recognizes and rewards employees appropriately
- Ensures guests receive an exceptional experience by properly training employees and holding the restaurant team accountable for excellent guest service and food quality
- Monitors adherence to food safety requirements and restaurant cleanliness
- Responds to guest concerns and complaints professionally and timely
- Partners with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance
- Develops and executes action plans to increase restaurant sales and profitability
- Monitors costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
- Performs other related duties as assigned
