Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completion of Assistant Manager training classes
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and work under pressure
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and motor vehicle
- Commitment to ethical behavior and integrity
- Use of personal vehicle for bank deposits and traveling to other locations as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager if internal promote
- Minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external recruits
- Must be 100% certified in all workstations
- ServSafe certification required
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Working knowledge of personal computers and software
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- Monitors staffing levels and ensures employee training compliance
- Provides excellent internal and external service by motivating and inspiring employees
- Ensures guests receive exceptional experience through quality service and food safety adherence
- Responds promptly to guest concerns and maintains positive brand image
- Analyzes restaurant operational and financial performance and implements improvement plans
- Supports Restaurant Manager in increasing sales and profitability by managing costs and budgets
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness and safety
- Promotes company culture and values by managing with integrity and ethical standards
- Coaches, trains, and develops employees for growth and performance
- Performs other related duties as assigned
