Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma ged or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year experience in customer service leadership or minimum 3 years assistant manager experience externally
  • 100 percent certification in workstations for internal candidates
  • completion of assistant manager training
  • servsafe certification
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math operations
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to lift 10-65 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95 percent of shift
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and computers
  • willingness to use personal vehicle for business purposes
  • commitment to integrity and ethical conduct

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma ged or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience as shift leader or assistant manager internally
  • minimum 3 years assistant manager experience with some profit and loss responsibility externally
  • must be 100 percent certified in all workstations internally
  • must complete assistant manager training classes
  • must be servsafe certified
  • ability to speak read and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math
  • proven analytical skills
  • good organization and planning skills
  • self-starter who takes initiative
  • working knowledge of personal computers and software
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels and ensures systems for employee training are implemented
  • identifies and develops internal candidates for management positions
  • creates a restaurant environment that is friendly fun clean and safe
  • motivates and inspires employees while adhering to company procedures
  • recognizes and rewards employees appropriately
  • manages daily activities to achieve restaurant operational performance
  • ensures guests receive exceptional experiences by training and holding team accountable
  • monitors adherence to food safety and quality standards
  • maintains visibility and interaction with guests and resolves complaints
  • serves as a role model for guest service
  • partners with restaurant manager to analyze operational and financial performance
  • develops and executes action plans to increase sales and profitability
  • monitors costs and adherence to budgets
  • demonstrates passion for the business and promotes company culture and values
  • communicates clearly and manages conflict effectively
  • serves as a strong role model who trains coaches and provides development opportunities
  • provides quality performance feedback to employees
  • ensures consistent food quality safety and restaurant cleanliness
  • adjusts to shifting priorities and implements change initiatives
  • makes high-quality decisions based on experience and knowledge
  • attends priorities delegates and follows up
  • performs other duties as assigned
