Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager (internal) or 3 years as Assistant Manager with P&L experience (external)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of Assistant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to use personal vehicle for business purposes
  • Physical ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Completion of Assistant Manager training classes required

Job Duties

  • Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
  • Monitors staffing levels and ensures employee development and talent retention
  • Ensures training systems for workstations are implemented and adhered to
  • Identifies and develops internal candidates for leadership roles
  • Works with the team to execute the Service Profit Chain and "My Promise to You"
  • Creates a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • Motivates employees to achieve high performance while adhering to procedures

  • Partners with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance
