This role also requires strong financial management capabilities—monitoring budgets, analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and implementing action plans to enhance profitability. The Assistant Restaurant Manager must work collaboratively with the Restaurant Manager and regional support teams to achieve sales goals and maintain the brand's positive reputation.
Ideal candidates for this position possess a minimum of one to three years of restaurant management experience, depending on whether they are internal promotes or external recruits. They must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary education preferred. Certifications such as ServSafe and completion of Assistant Manager training classes are mandatory.
