Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- Must be ServSafe certified
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager, or minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Manager for external recruits
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math concepts
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and use of personal vehicle
- Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10 to 65 pounds
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external candidates
- ServSafe certified
- Completion of Assistant Manager training classes
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter with initiative
- Working knowledge of personal computers and software
- Valid driver's license and vehicle use

Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are fully implemented
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management positions
- Ensure effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise
- Create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence in performance
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and food quality
- Monitor adherence to food safety requirements and company procedures
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Maintain a positive brand image
- Analyze operational and financial performance using management tools
- Develop and execute action plans for sales and profit growth
- Monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals
- Serve as a role model for excellent guest service
- Attend to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Make high-quality decisions based on experience and policy
- Delegate work and conduct systematic follow-ups
