Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- knowledge of state and federal labor laws
- ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- ability to operate restaurant equipment
- ability to drive a motor vehicle
- ability to operate a computer keyboard
- demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- minimum 3 years Assistant Manager experience with some P&L responsibility for external candidates
- 100% certification in all workstations
- ServSafe certification
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong math and analytical abilities
- good organizational and planning skills
- self-starter with initiative
- working knowledge of computer applications
- valid driver’s license and insurance
Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations
- recruit, train, and develop restaurant employees
- ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- monitor and improve guest service
- handle guest concerns and complaints
- analyze and improve restaurant financial performance
- maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety
- support and execute company policies and procedures
- foster a positive work environment
- provide performance feedback to employees
- assist with business management and decision making
- perform other related duties as assigned
