Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or 1 year experience as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment for internal promotions
- must be 100% certified in all workstations
- minimum of 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be at least 18 years old
- must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- must be ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- self-starter who takes initiative and accepts responsibility
- working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- must possess valid driver’s license, insurance, and use personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
- demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure employee development
- ensure training systems are implemented and adhered to
- identify and develop internal candidates for management positions
- create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- recognize and reward employees appropriately
- ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- manage daily restaurant operations for excellent performance
- ensure exceptional guest experience
- maintain visibility and interaction with guests
- respond to and resolve guest concerns professionally
- maintain consistent food quality, cleanliness, and maintenance
- analyze operational and financial performance
- develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
- monitor costs and budget adherence
- maintain and foster the Jack in the Box culture and values
- train, coach, and develop employees
- provide performance feedback and recognition
- ensure food quality and safety
- adjust to changing priorities and manage conflict
- perform other related duties as assigned
