Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- minimum 1 year experience as shift leader or assistant manager internally, or 3 years as assistant manager externally with P&L responsibility
- ability to perform basic math operations
- excellent communication skills
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and computers
- willingness to travel between locations
- demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- minimum of 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external candidates
- ServSafe certification
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- working knowledge of computers and software
- valid driver's license and insurance
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
- identify and develop internal candidates for leadership roles
- ensure effective execution of company policies and Service Profit Chain
- create a friendly, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- treat employees with respect and motivate high performance
- recognize and reward employees
- manage daily activities to achieve operational excellence
- ensure consistent guest service and food quality
- respond professionally to guest concerns
- maintain positive brand image
- analyze operational and financial performance data
- develop action plans to increase sales and profitability
- monitor costs and adherence to budget
- perform other related duties as assigned
