They maintain a workplace culture where diversity is respected, and every associate has the opportunity to succeed regardless of their background. The company’s mission centers around inspiring people to better their lives, which translates into initiatives that impact not only Panda employees but also the communities they serve. Panda Express is currently seeking experienced leaders to join their store management team as Assistant Managers. This full-time role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $15 to $40, depending on location and experience, along with bonus opportunities. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall operation of a single restaurant location. Your duties will include hiring, managing, and directing store associates to meet financial objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. This role demands a hands-on leader who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks such as staff scheduling, training, and conflict resolution. To prepare candidates for success, Panda Express offers an extensive paid Store Management Leadership Training program lasting three or more weeks. The training covers all essential aspects of store operations and leadership, equipping new managers with the tools they need to excel. Working at Panda Express means joining a company that supports your professional growth with ongoing career and leadership development opportunities, scholarships, and continuous education assistance. The company also provides a range of employee benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance; voluntary short-term disability coverage; cancer income protection insurance; 401K plans with company match; paid holidays and time off; and various discounts on theme parks, gym memberships, and more. Panda Express is committed to creating a positive work environment and recognizing hard work through lucrative referral bonuses and comprehensive income protection benefits. The workplace setting at Panda Express involves physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a hot kitchen environment with exposure to steam and noise. Effective communication skills, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role. Overall, being an Assistant Manager at Panda Express is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to grow within a supportive and inclusive company dedicated to its people and its legacy in the food service industry.
