The company prides itself on its commitment to family values and personal development, making it a well-respected leader in the fast-casual restaurant sector. Panda Express remains dedicated to fostering a supportive and inspiring work environment, where associates are encouraged to advance both professionally and personally. \n\nThis commitment is evident in the comprehensive training and mentorship programs offered to new and existing employees alike. This nurturing atmosphere is supplemented by a strong community presence and plenty of opportunities for associates to give back, reflecting the company's ethos of caring and responsibility toward its team and the neighborhoods it serves. \n\nThe role of Assistant Manager at Panda Express is central to the smooth operation and success of an individual store. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the restaurant, supporting the Store Manager in hiring, managing, and directing associates to meet financial targets and uphold Panda Express's high standards for guest service. This position involves hands-on leadership and being an active participant in both the operational and customer-facing aspects of the business. To prepare new managers for success, Panda Express offers a comprehensive training program lasting three or more weeks, designed to equip leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage a fast-paced restaurant environment. \n\nAssistant Managers at Panda Express will take on significant responsibilities ranging from staffing and training to operational oversight, all aimed at ensuring an exceptional guest experience and financial performance. Flexibility in work location and schedule is valued, as is the ability to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere within the team. Panda Express supports its managers with a generous compensation package, including bonuses, benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company match, paid time off, and various employee discounts.
