We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager of Operations to join our outstanding Rooms Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of lodge facilities, overseeing both the Front Office and Housekeeping departments. The Assistant Manager of Operations will play a critical role in staffing management, payroll oversight in line with budgetary guidelines, and maintaining consistent quality of service to guarantee superior guest experiences. This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,304.00 to $72,500.00 and presents opportunities for career advancement within a supportive hospitality environment.

As an Assistant Manager of Operations at The Quail, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of supervising daily lodge operations while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Your leadership will ensure that guest issues, such as billing discrepancies and housekeeping concerns, are resolved with tact and courtesy. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in hospitality industry
  • Passionate about service and teamwork

  • Prior experience in hospitality management or operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflict and handle guest concerns professionally

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the overall supervision of the Lodge Operations including Front office and Housekeeping
  • Resolve guest related discrepancies with tact and courtesy including billing, housekeeping, discrepancy and check reports
  • Oversee and manage staffing levels and payroll expenses in accordance with budgetary guidelines and required service levels
  • Maintain consistent quality of service to ensure the satisfaction of every guest
