The Assistant Manager role at QDOBA is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring smooth restaurant operations alongside or in the absence of the General Manager. This role offers an hourly pay range of $17.50 to $21.50 and involves a blend of management, customer service, training, and operational responsibilities. The Assistant Manager is entrusted with upholding the brand’s values and standards, focusing on creating a work culture that centers around both people and guests. Success in this role means ensuring that every guest receives excellent service and food quality, while all state and federal compliance requirements are met. The Assistant Manager participates actively in recruitment, staff training, performance management, and day-to-day operational decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years QSR experience including 1 year in leadership
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift equipment and product weighing 10-50 lbs
  • Ability to speak and hear clearly on telephone and in person
  • Ability to operate desktop tablet or computer
  • Have an operable personal cell phone if delivering catering orders
  • Use personal cell phone to track departures and deliveries according to safety protocols
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years QSR experience
  • Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in QSR
  • Excellent prioritization interpersonal problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
  • Proven ability to recruit hire coach train and motivate employees
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager with new hire recruitment selection and training efforts
  • In conjunction with the General Manager, responsible for the training and development of the restaurant staff
  • Assign activities and tasks
  • Comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Hold restaurant team accountable for consistently delivering excellent guest service and food quality in adherence with brand systems procedures and food safety requirements
  • Review practices and modify as needed to continuously improve the guest experience
