Currently, Panda Express is seeking experienced leaders to join their store management team as Assistant Managers. This role is primarily focused on the successful operation of a single store, which includes the hiring, management, and direction of associates to meet both financial and guest service goals. The company offers paid Store Management Leadership Training to equip new hires with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. This program spans three or more weeks and is designed to mentor and support the management staff through every stage of their career progression within Panda Express.

As an Assistant Manager, you are entrusted with the responsibility of making the store a success. This involves overseeing store operations, ensuring that exceptional guest experiences are consistently delivered, and driving financial growth. It is a role that demands leadership, effective communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability to navigate the fast-paced environment of the restaurant industry. Working schedules for this position are flexible and may include opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

The position requires the ability to manage a team in a dynamic setting while adhering to safety standards such as being Serve Safe certified. Physical requirements of the job include the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle kitchen tools and equipment proficiently. The environment can be hot and noisy, with restricted workspace and high shelving, making it essential for candidates to be physically capable and resilient.
