Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 5 years of experience in hotel and or front desk operations
  • at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • excellent organizational skills
  • excellent people skills with ability to lead and motivate a team
  • ability to effectively communicate with managers, departments, and the public in written and verbal form
  • ability to support and delegate duties
  • ability to make decisions in a logical and timely manner
  • able to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hotel or front desk operations
  • supervisory experience in a hospitality environment

  • ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks
  • knowledge of hotel front desk procedures and guest service standards
  • proficiency in relevant software and office equipment

Job Duties

  • Responsible for daily operations of hotel front desk including check in and check out procedures
  • communicate effectively with team members to promote a warm and welcoming work environment
  • provide superior service to guests and residences
  • maintain communication between front desk and all hotel operations departments including maintenance, housekeeping, and front services
  • participate in interviews, candidate selections, training, supervision, counseling and coaching of front desk staff
  • monitor and evaluate team members to ensure productivity and adherence to policies
  • maintain room rack and availability to ensure maximum occupancy and room revenue
  • assist hotel manager with budgeting and forecasting focused on occupancy and revenue
  • maintain supply stock ordering
  • maintain records of team member adherence to policies and disciplinary actions
  • perform other duties and projects as requested
