The role of Assistant Manager at Orchard Foods is designed for a natural leader who possesses exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering superior customer service. This position functions as the key support to the Restaurant General Manager, providing critical management coverage during operating hours and ensuring the smooth supervision of the day-to-day operations within the restaurant unit. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing more than three employees, maintaining high standards across all facilities and equipment, adhering to routine cleaning and safety tasks, and managing financial controls. Furthermore, the position demands hands-on involvement, including training staff, responding to customer needs, and exemplifying the company’s standards in operational excellence.

This full-time role also includes significant human resource responsibilities such as crew training, mentoring, performance feedback, and conducting health and safety audits. The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in motivating the team, facilitating recruitment, interviewing, and hiring efforts, as well as implementing performance appraisals and disciplinary measures when necessary. Additionally, maintaining compliance with safety and health regulations, managing inventory, labor costs, and reviewing financial reports are critical tasks for this leadership position. The role requires the ability to maintain strong customer relations by ensuring fast, accurate service and consistently high-quality product standards. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.83 to $20.13 plus tips and an attractive benefit package including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401K plan with employer match, and paid leave benefits.
