The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience at lululemon plays a critical role as part of the store leadership team. A core responsibility of this role is leading the guest experience on the retail floor. Assistant Managers assess guest interactions, provide feedback to team members to bridge knowledge gaps, and ensure seamless retail operations and floor coverage. They promptly resolve guest issues, turning feedback into positive experiences. Operationally, they collaborate with the management team to analyze business metrics such as profit and loss, contributing to strategic planning, sales forecasting, and hiring strategies.

The Assistant Manager also oversees product presentation and visual merchandising standards, including tasks such as product restocking, recovery, and minor visual adjustments. They perform store opening and closing procedures, promote safety adherence, and comply with company policies and legal regulations. This leadership role manages allocated budgets and labor hours to optimize store performance.

Job Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the store
  • Must have reliable transportation to assigned store
  • Available to work variable schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • At least one year of people management experience
  • At least one year of leadership experience including business operations and administration
  • Ability to manage conflict and guest issues
  • Comfortable working in environments with bright lights and loud music
  • Ability to move throughout the store during a shift and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • One year of people management experience
  • One year of leadership experience managing business operations and projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
