Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
- Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs unassisted
- Employment contingent upon successful background check
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in foodservice or retail, with a focus on customer service and team development
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, labeling, and product rotation practices
- Catering experience and comfort in leading both in-house and external food service execution
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Partner with the Team Leader to deliver a seamless FOH experience and cohesive department leadership
- Provide outstanding customer service and model best-in-class service standards for the team
- Oversee the daily operation of FOH revenue centers, ensuring full, fresh, and visually appealing displays
- Lead catering production and service, building strong relationships with catering guests
- Interview, hire, train, and develop team members, providing clear expectations and consistent feedback
- Support scheduling and labor management in alignment with budget and department needs
- Address guest and team member concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with Store Leadership on performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processes
- Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures in accordance with Plum Market policies
