Cross Restaurants operates a diverse range of dining venues that cater to a broad customer base, including students, faculty, and community members. The company emphasizes a culture of teamwork, quality service, and continuous improvement to uphold its reputation as a leader in the food services industry.

The position open at Cross Restaurants is for a PM Restaurant Operations Manager, a crucial managerial role responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of evening operations within a large dining facility. This role demands a dynamic and experienced leader who can efficiently manage the challenges that come with running a busy restaurant setting after regular business hours. The PM Restaurant Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that financial objectives are met, particularly through effective cost control and accurate payroll management, while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction and staff development.

This managerial position is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service and restaurant supervision, eager to apply their skills in leadership, staff management, and operational oversight. The candidate will independently make key decisions related to budget adherence, compliance with health regulations, and continuous improvement of food, beverage, and service quality. Given the nature of the facility, the manager will also be responsible for enforcing rigorous sanitation policies to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both guests and staff.

This role involves managing all aspects of staffing, including recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating employees in order to build a motivated and effective team. The manager is expected to cultivate a workplace atmosphere that encourages high performance and accountability while fostering positive relationships with both staff members and patrons. Additionally, the position requires flexibility, as the work schedule includes late-night shifts and event days such as home football games, emphasizing the essential nature of this role in maintaining continuous operations even during campus closures.

The targeted salary for this position is $50,300 annually, commensurate with experience, and the role is classified as essential, with potential travel requirements. The successful candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which underscores the company’s investment in employee wellbeing. Background checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Overall, the PM Restaurant Operations Manager at Cross Restaurants is a leadership role that demands operational expertise, excellent management capabilities, and a hands-on approach to achieving excellence in a busy food service environment.
