The role of Front-of-the-House Food Services Manager at Hard Rock Bristol is a critical leadership position overseeing the efficient operation of all food and beverage outlets on the property. This managerial role requires an experienced professional to direct and participate in planning for the Food & Beverage departments while ensuring profitability and delivering exceptional quality service. The incumbent will be responsible for motivating and supervising staff, managing budgets, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include creating an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests returning, developing strategies for improving service and financial outcomes, and handling guest relations adeptly. Collaborations with culinary teams, marketing, and player development departments are vital to ensure seamless operations during special events and typical business hours. The role demands a deep understanding of restaurant operations, cost control, guest satisfaction metrics, and personnel management. Job Requirements

must obtain and maintain necessary licenses/certifications per federal, state, and gaming regulations
must successfully pass background check
must successfully pass drug screening
must be twenty-one years of age
prior experience opening new properties/outlets preferred

Job Qualifications

completion of a high school degree or equivalent with 6 years' restaurant service experience including 2 years in a supervisory role
or a Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant/Beverage Management, Business Administration or equivalent with 3 years' restaurant experience including 1 year supervisory
knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations
understanding of managing high volume restaurants or bars
familiarity with safety and sanitation practices for food and beverage
ability to use applicable computer systems
experience in various restaurant roles
strong service etiquette and standard practices for full-service restaurants

Job Duties

create an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment
hire, motivate, evaluate and supervise front-of-the-house staff
ensure staff morale through quality supervision and training
establish department standards, guidelines, and objectives
monitor guest satisfaction, volume, cost, and competitors' programs to implement improvements
work with the Director of Food & Beverage to analyze food cost and forecast business trends
monitor and evaluate food & beverage service performance
order and maintain accurate inventory levels
conduct inspections to ensure compliance with procedures, security, and safety
investigate and resolve guest complaints
coordinate with culinary department to maintain dining experience
coordinate with marketing and player development for special events and increased guest volume
assist with operations in all food & beverage outlets
perform other duties as assigned and adhere to relevant regulations
