Job Description

This restaurant is part of a thriving franchise operated independently from McDonald's USA. Although it leverages McDonald's iconic brand, logos, and food products, it is managed by a separate franchisee, who is the sole employer responsible for all staffing and employment decisions. This independence ensures that employees work directly with the franchisee, who handles everything from hiring and firing to scheduling and employee supervision. This structure provides a unique opportunity to work at a renowned brand while receiving personalized management and support from a dedicated local leadership team.

The establishment prides itself on delivering a world-class customer experience, combining delicious food with efficient service, in a welcoming environment that values growth and development. By joining this franchise-operated restaurant, employees become part of a team that prioritizes energy, purpose, and community, making every shift not only productive but also enjoyable. The culture encourages team members to grow their skills and take advantage of significant career advancement opportunities available within the McDonald's franchise system.

The position offered is that of a Department Manager, a crucial leadership role responsible for managing one or more restaurant departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People. The Department Manager plays an instrumental role in leading shifts, ensuring every customer receives a fast, friendly, and accurate service experience. Managers are also accountable for training team members, managing restaurant operations, controlling costs, and maintaining food safety standards. Depending on the department, responsibilities might include overseeing training programs, enhancing customer service quality, maintaining high food quality and safety, and fostering a positive workplace culture by hiring and motivating crew members.

This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing managers to balance work with personal commitments or educational pursuits. It’s designed for dynamic individuals who are enthusiastic about building leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. Previous managerial experience, ideally in restaurants, retail, or hospitality, is preferred but the position is also open to positive, team-oriented candidates ready to jump into an energetic setting. Managers must be at least 18 years old, as per corporate policy for leadership roles.

The franchise offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including daily pay options, paid vacation, holiday and funeral pay, and a unique Splash Week, which rewards long service with additional paid time off. The benefits extend further to include medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus short- and long-term disability, life and accident insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employees also enjoy a 30% national employee discount and access to educational programs through Archways to Opportunity, which facilitates continuing education, college tuition assistance, and ESL classes.

Working here means more than just a paycheck: it means joining a supportive team dedicated to helping its members advance their careers, improve their skills, and enjoy meaningful work in an environment that honors diversity and encourages personal and professional growth. Whether you aspire to a long-term career in restaurant management or are seeking valuable leadership experience, this role provides a solid foundation and plenty of room to grow.
