The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Braum's is pivotal in executing the company’s brand strategy to maintain its high standards and deliver an outstanding experience for customers. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.50 to $17.00, translating to an annual salary range of approximately $44,500 to $48,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package and a top-tier bi-weekly bonus program. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will have the opportunity to play an integral role in shaping the store's success by leading the team and managing daily operations.

The Assistant Manager will oversee the food service area, grocery market, and fountain sales, ensuring all aspects run efficiently and effectively. A key part of the job is to teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging high performance. The position requires actively monitoring inventory, supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety measures, and cleanliness to maintain compliance with company policies. The Assistant Manager also shares responsibility for ensuring that all store policies and procedures are consistently implemented and followed.

Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of retail management experience and demonstrate strong customer focus, work ethic, and integrity. The ability to communicate effectively with both team members and leadership, build trust within the team, and adapt to varying conditions is essential. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of reviewing and analyzing performance reports to make informed decisions. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license and a minimum age of 21 years.

This position operates on a rotating 3-week schedule, averaging 45 hours per week, mainly covering the 2:00 pm to closing shifts.
