With a strong presence managing hotels across 20 different states, HomeTowne Studios is dedicated to providing both exceptional guest services and fostering a positive, supportive work environment for its employees. The company places a high value on being an employer of choice, recognizing that the workplace environment is as vital as the work itself. HomeTowne Studios continues to invest in property renovations and employee training to enhance the overall guest and employee experience. Their properties, renovated in 2018, benefit from ongoing quality improvements, reflecting their commitment to excellence in hospitality management.

We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team, offering a competitive starting wage ranging between $10.00 and $19.75 per hour. This role is instrumental in supporting the General Manager to maintain the highest standards of hotel quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. As an Assistant General Manager, you will contribute to managing multiple departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry, and Sales, ensuring seamless coordination and superior service delivery.

Responsibilities include overseeing hotel cleanliness and order by inspecting rooms, public areas, and grounds, as well as assisting in recruitment, training, and leadership of hotel staff to exceed service expectations. The role requires strong emphasis on employee motivation through coaching and counseling, while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations. Another key function is the effective control of costs through forecasting, labor management, and profit and loss performance review.

The Assistant General Manager also plays a vital role in inventory management and supply ordering, sustaining appropriate stock levels while adhering to budget constraints. Additionally, this position involves managing daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks such as scheduling, labor reporting, payroll, night audit verification, and responding to guest reviews. This broad spectrum of duties requires a professional with excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

HomeTowne Studios offers numerous employee benefits including health insurance with employee contributions beginning as low as $54 for individuals and $297 for families on a semi-monthly basis, dental and vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance, paid time off, a 401K plan with employer matching, and ample career growth opportunities. The company is committed to not only delivering great guest experiences but also nurturing the career development of its employees in a rewarding work environment. This position is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their management career within the hospitality industry, especially those with experience or interest in extended stay hotels.
