Job Description

Cabi is a women’s retail clothing company that stands at the forefront of redefining what it means to build a fashion brand. Rooted in the core values of connection, confidence, and purpose, Cabi is not just about designing beautiful apparel; it’s about creating meaningful opportunities for women to express themselves, foster community, and thrive on personal and professional levels. The company’s culture emphasizes collaboration, entrepreneurship, and a people-first approach where every team member contributes to shaping remarkable experiences for stylists and clients alike. Cabi represents a unique blend of style and substance, catering to women who seek fashion that empowers and inspires. Joining Cabi means becoming part of a passionate and supportive environment that values innovation, authenticity, and genuine connection throughout all aspects of the business.

The role of Assistant Store Manager at Cabi is a vital leadership position designed for those who are passionate about fashion and enjoy thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will play an instrumental role in driving the store’s success by leading a motivated team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving ambitious sales goals. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage between $20 and $23, reflecting the importance of the role within the organization.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will lead and inspire by championing Cabi’s core values and upholding brand standards in all store operations. You will act as Manager on Duty, overseeing key carriers and part-time associates, and taking an active role in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching store employees. Your leadership will foster a positive, professional, and team-first environment that encourages growth and collaboration.

Beyond leadership, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for creating unforgettable customer experiences by personalizing service and building lasting client relationships through effective clienteling and engagement programs. You will contribute to marketing and outreach efforts that elevate the store’s visibility within the community.

On the business side, you will be accountable for tracking daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs and goals, analyzing performance data to identify areas for growth, and helping to develop and execute action plans to meet and exceed targets. Maintaining store appearance and standards through merchandising, visual presentation, inventory management, shipment processing, and stock organization will also fall under your purview.

Operationally, the role demands attention to detail in maintaining store records, banking, petty cash, and daily procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Assistant Store Manager ensures the store remains clean, organized, and ready to provide an exceptional shopping experience. Effective communication across management, team members, and company partners is essential, along with the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

This position suits individuals who have prior retail leadership experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a knack for coaching and developing employees, and proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office tools. Organizational prowess, problem-solving capabilities, and a dependable, team-oriented attitude are equally important. An associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with 2 to 3 years of retail supervisory experience recommended.

Joining Cabi as an Assistant Store Manager is more than just taking on a job; it’s embracing a mission to empower women and celebrate individuality. If you are driven by creativity, inspired by lifting others, and excited to contribute to a brand that harmonizes style with substance, Cabi offers a rewarding career path where your talents will be valued and your impact will be meaningful.
