As an Assistant Manager at BURGER KING, you step into a leadership role focused on driving the restaurant's profitability, enhancing guest satisfaction, developing team members, and ensuring smooth operational management. The Assistant Manager works directly under the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and plays a vital role in coordinating daily restaurant activities. This role requires managing and motivating a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and operational procedures. Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, maintaining operational standards, ensuring preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment, and upholding cash control and security measures.

The Assistant Manager fosters a positive working environment, providing coaching and feedback to team members, and supporting their development to enhance restaurant performance. In addition, this role involves direct interaction with guests to ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere at all times. The position includes performing Hourly Shift Coordinator duties when necessary, highlighting the dynamic and hands-on nature of this leadership role. Job Duties

  • Maintains inventory
  • keep operational standards and procedures
  • ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards, interacting with external vendors as required
  • ensures that restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures
  • interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and coworkers
  • motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast and friendly service in a clean facility
  • provides coaching and feedback to Shifts Coordinators and Team Members to increase the restaurant team’s capabilities and raise restaurant performance
  • directs restaurant team toward efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines
  • ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards
  • performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary
