Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan
  • maintain food safety certification and manager certification
  • enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members meet and exceed expectations
  • train, coach, and develop team members
  • create and manage work schedules following company standards and local laws
  • plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations
  • supervise and lead team members to achieve quarterly goals
  • ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
  • communicate performance concerns to general manager
  • assist with performance reviews and mentor team members
  • foster a positive culture and team morale through recognition and leadership
  • handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries in a timely and respectful manner
  • enforce compliance with all operational processes, policies, and procedures
  • maintain operational standards and ensure franchise and company guideline compliance
  • comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • utilize management tools and maintain accurate records
  • maintain an attitude of flexibility to exceed position requirements
  • ensure team adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
  • report human resources and risk management issues to management
  • escalate concerns to supervisors as appropriate
