The position of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Braum's is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are energetic, positive, and eager to grow their management career within the food service industry. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the food service portion of the store, the grocery market, and fountain sales. You will coach and mentor store crew members, helping to foster a motivated and efficient team. A crucial aspect of this role is maintaining operational excellence by monitoring inventory and supplies, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met, and enforcing company policies and practices consistently.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.50 to $17.00, translating to an annual salary of approximately $44,500 to $46,500. Work hours are primarily from 2:00 PM until closing, with a rotating schedule based on a three-week cycle, averaging about 45 hours per week. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver license
- Ability to work the 2:00 pm to close shift
- Ability to work a rotating 3 week schedule with about 45 hours per week
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Strong work ethic and integrity

Job Duties
- Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members
- Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
- Oversee the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
- Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
- Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
- Communicate effectively with leadership team members
- Initiate action and achieve goals
