The Assistant Manager position at The Parking Spot is a vital role within the operations leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This full-time role operates Wednesday to Sunday from 3 pm to 11 pm, with Monday and Tuesday off, and offers an annual salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, along with overtime eligibility. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the parking facility and fleet, ensuring the facility’s physical condition and appearance meet company standards. This role involves supervising and training employees to maintain high operational performance, managing customer service issues, and enforcing company policies. It requires balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, empowering you to act with ownership over the facility’s success. The position offers significant opportunities for career advancement, with over 70% of Assistant Managers progressing to General Manager roles. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant management experience
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule
  • Ability to prioritize work and promptly follow directions
  • Excellent English communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports
  • Currently holds or is able to obtain all applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle, including a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to take a physical and pass as a certified Interstate driver as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversees the physical condition and appearance for the facility and fleet
  • Supervises the performance of employees within a shift to ensure operational standards are met
  • Trains employees to perform their specific responsibilities
  • Completes assigned projects relating to operational improvements, maintenance and shuttle repair
  • Successfully manages all customer service issues that may arise
  • Enforces all company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook
  • Must be able to respond accordingly if a shift needs to be filled
  • complies with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
  • Performs additional duties as reasonably requested by Management
