As the largest family-owned Asian dining concept in the United States, Panda Express operates nearly 2,800 locations globally, crafting exceptional dining experiences built on a strong foundation of family values and community involvement. The company is passionately committed to fostering the professional and personal growth of its employees, offering ample opportunities for career advancement within its expansive store network. Panda Express prides itself on a supportive culture, providing hands-on training, continuous education, and leadership development programs that empower associates to excel in their roles and grow within the organization.

The Assistant Manager role at Panda Express is a pivotal position focused on assisting in the operation and success of an individual store. This role requires strong leadership skills as the Assistant Manager will be responsible for hiring, managing, and directing store associates to meet financial and operational goals while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Candidates can expect to participate in a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks, preparing them thoroughly for success in managing high-volume restaurant operations. With flexible work schedules including weekends, the role demands adaptability and a hands-on approach to managing both staff and store operations. Compensation ranges from $23 to $26 per hour, with additional opportunities for bonuses tied to performance. Panda Express offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, various discounts, and education assistance.
