The Assistant Manager role at Flynn Applebee's is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. As an Assistant Manager, you will be actively involved in leading the team, managing guest experiences, maintaining operational standards, and driving business success. This position requires someone who can inspire staff, resolve problems efficiently, manage stress effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities with a positive attitude.

Assistant Managers are responsible for maintaining a friendly and timely service environment according to company guidelines, promoting the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card culture, and addressing guest concerns promptly to uphold satisfaction. You will oversee inventory management, product preparation standards, employee scheduling, safety protocols, cleanliness, and maintenance responsibilities. Additionally, you will support recruitment, training, and development of team members to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to company policies.

Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • physical ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
  • capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • good reading and writing skills
  • finger and hand dexterity for handling small tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • serve safe food certification preferred
  • serve safe alcohol certification preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
