The Assistant Manager position is integral to the leadership team, assisting in various aspects of restaurant operations including financial oversight, product quality, inventory management, personnel development, sales enhancement, and marketing efforts. Job Duties

  • Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • strive for operational levels that meet or exceed the fan's expectations in quality, service and atmosphere
  • accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products, cash control
  • ensure shift leads and crew are trained and knowledgeable on all PRIDE systems, product recipes, food safety and restaurant safety practices
  • incorporate PRIDE systems and routines into daily operations
  • assist in execution of restaurant's business plan under direction
  • analyze cost of goods sold and take corrective actions
  • maintain inventory and adjust labor based on demand
  • ensure cash control and security procedures are followed
  • assist director in strategies to increase meal checks and fan visits
  • ensure fan service meets or exceeds company standards
  • establish standards to handle customer concerns
  • promptly address customer complaints to ensure return fans
  • resolve bottlenecks in service speed
  • build relationships with return patrons
  • assist director with hiring, training, coaching and development of staff
  • monitor employee performance and provide feedback
  • role model and enforce policies and procedures
  • prepare hourly schedules for staffing requirements
  • maintain positive work environment to maximize morale and productivity
  • assist director with food safety training and enforce safe food handling
